I am a multi-disciplinary artist who recently graduated from 3D Animation & CGI in May 2023, from Dawson College, Montreal, Canada. I specialize in 3D environments, modeling, and visual development.
I am first and foremost a 2D artist. My first love was traditional art, whether it be sketching, oil painting, or sculpting. I grew up admiring the Old Masters and wanting to become one. Which is why I started a bachelor's in Art History, Museology, and Art Diffusion back in 2018. Not only did I love the techniques they used and wanted to learn about them, I also loved the way they were able to create an entire world on only a canvas. On a simple cloth framed by wood.
That idea of world-building, of creating something bigger than yourself that ends up taking a life of its own is why I specialize in modeling and visual development.
I love the creative process. The brainstorming, the idea mapping, the designing, the redesigning, etc. Every single step accumulates to the point of actually bringing all that work to life. In my case, by modeling it. Modeling the characters, the environments, the props, etc. All of which creates not only a “real version” of my artistic vision but a je-ne-sais-quoi of its own.
I am a modeler. I am a visual development artist. I love them both equally and believe they go hand in hand in bringing to life the overflowing creativity that too often needs to escape my brain.
Simply put, I love bringing worlds to life!
